Mint Chip Smoothie

Did you know, in addition to exercise, that there is another way to stay lean and fit, and get that “high”?

There is-and that is by adding more oxygen to your foods.

How do you do that?

One way to start doing it is by adding smoothies to your diet.

Here’s why:

Smoothies contain fruits and vegetables (phytonutrients) that are naturally hydrating and contain nutrients that enhance the flow of oxygen in the body, not block it. By reducing acidic foods (foods that contain very little oxygen) such as non-organic meats, dairy, coffee, white sugar and flour, artificial sweeteners and diet sodas and by increasing alkaline foods (foods with more oxygen) such as whole fruits, vegetables, raw nuts and seeds, and sprouted grains, you’ll see that this is the MISSING LINK to ageless beauty, and weight loss.

Taste for yourself with this Mint Chip Smoothie! It’s one of my favorites…

Mint Chip Smoothie
(makes one smoothie)

2 cups almond milk

1 frozen banana

a handful of baby spinach

a few fresh mint leaves

1 tablespoon cacao nibs

1-2 pitted dates

a scoop of plant-based protein powder

Blend all ingredients in a high-speed blender and serve.
